We do not charge for an order until that order is ready to ship, at the time the order was placed a preauthorization hold was placed on the card, if the order does not ship right away due to a backorder or preorder then that hold is released back to the card used for the order 6-10 days later.
The order is still in good standing when this happens, we are just waiting on stock to arrive. Once it does, we will charge the card and ship the order as quickly as possible.
